A 5 day safari welcomes you to the wilderness of the Kruger National Park and Sabi Sand Game Reserve, where exploring the vast plains provides close encounters with lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo and rhino on foot, or from an open game viewing vehicle with your ranger.

Itinerary

Day 1: Johannesburg to Tydon Safari Camp, Sabi Sand

You will be collected from the airport or nearby hotel and we make our way towards the Tydon Safari Camp, Sabi Sand Game Reserve adjacent to the Kruger Park. After checking in to your room, we embark on a sunset/ evening safari game drive in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, renowned for its abundance of Leopards. (D)

Day 2: Kruger National Park Safari Drive

After an early morning safari drive in the Kruger National Park which provides excellent photographic opportunities, we return to the camp in mid-morning to enjoy a healthy breakfast. Spending some down time in camp and having a light lunch we depart in the afternoon for a safari drive in the Kruger Park. (BLD)

Day 3: Sabi Sand morning bush walk and afternoon safari drive

This morning you will be exploring the African bush on foot, which is a once in a life time experience coming close to wildlife in their natural environment. Note that the appropriate clothing and shoes are required for a bush walk. Preferable long paints and leather boots are a must. Arriving back at the camp mid-morning, breakfast will be served. After breakfast, time is spent relaxing during the heat of the day by the pool side. A light lunch will be served. We will depart for a safari drive in the afternoon searching for leopards, lions, buffalo, elephant and rhino in the company of an experienced guide. (BLD)

Day 4: Kruger National Park safari drive

After an early morning safari drive in the Kruger National Park, we return to the camp in mid-morning to enjoy a healthy breakfast. Spending some down time in camp and having a light lunch we depart in the afternoon for a safari drive in the Kruger Park in search of wild animals and bird species. (BLD)

Day 5: Transfer to Johannesburg via the Panorama Route

Today you will be leaving the Tydon Safari Camp and head back to Johannesburg via the scenic Panorama Route which includes a visit to Gods Window, Lisbon Falls and town of Graskop, before arriving in Johannesburg at approximately 5:30pm. (B)
